i want to say i didnt do anything. im not entirely sure. OH WAIT. ha. whoops big mistake. i went to hunters show on saturday at the coffee retreat! in all honesty i wasnt expecting to like the arcadia crisis very much but i did. they were pretty damn good! and the lead singer is really cute. note to self. basically there was this girl bitching about steph, lots of hardcore dancing, fun times in the car (so i have to prove i suck? ~jordan), and some crazy dude with facial hair. i also liked juneau. the band for my future reference. and before that i went over to taras awesome house. they have grass now! lindsey me and her pretty much watched vh1, listened to music, played checkers, and got a kick booty thread bracelet.
sunday:
i finally bought the poisonwood bible. also my mom had a mary kay meeting at the house so i was the foundation model. because while i dont look as pale as death i am actually the freakin PALEST COLOR THERE IS!!!!!! im like a porcelain doll apparently. great. i want cocoa bean, i get toilet bowl color.
monday:
successfully read to page 38 of poisonwood bible. then later on went to the first musical rehearsal! am i just some incredible nerd for enjoying that so much?
tuesday:
went to CPR training. and god was the teacher a bitch. she kept talking to us like we were students at school (which i definitely do not need a head start on if the socialization doesnt come with it) and was really condescending to jason because hes a construction person. like hes some mexican working on the highways lady. please. not to mention there was a tenth grader and a sophomore in college there. why did she pick jason? freak. then began the process of packing. i actually threw away a loooot of crap. and this guy came by that wanted to buy the fridge who turned out to be michelle garcias dad! i was like "er...OOOH...yeeeeahh i uh know her" and he said hed say hello to her for me. so great. im goign to get beat up on the first day back.
today, wednesday:
went to the mall with tara and stephanie! there were a lot of people that we knew there: hannah and tj, kate, mrs hassid, ellens mom and brother (well i knew them), and...i think thats it actually. well we pretty much did our regular circle thing. then we tried on pencil jeans at hot topic and they actually looked pretty good on me. but stephs favorite jeans pooped out on her after a year of handling her sexy. a jean can only take so much of hotness exuding. then went to the lion king again. still good.
and overall, im missing lindsey, want a bunch of CDs and that pair of jeans, think i should really go read the poisonwood bible, and am going to finish packing for my move tomorrow.

today...was quite a delightful day. or really yesterday. but whatever. i count my days based upon when i sleep and wake up. today is yesterday in my world. make sense? good!
it started off badly. i was woken up early to go to my moms house. then my dog peed on the carpet and i cleaned it up. then i had lunch and a piece of cake. thats where the day got good. i went to best buy and got the chiodos album! its good but it was a tough decision to make. and this guy kept following me who turned out to have been in my german class.
and then to the mall! note for posterity: lindsey and i actually made a decision to go there instead of her house. we went and tried to go shopping. i tried on jeans and then we tried on dresses. there was a dj and rapper at express. DJ AND RAPPER. at a store. problem with this picture? well it did draw me in rather nicely so good idea to the express people. OH! we saw alex EW and ben daniels. and jamie. and kristen montgomery sheesh. we didnt speak to kristen, willed alex away from us, and i talked to jamie because i couldn't remember why i was ever mad in the first place. he is a lot taller. alex looks a lot gayer.
then back to lindseys! her dog was nice to me. it was amazing. we basically sat in her room and listened to music as i admired all of her cool schtuff. the usual. but still fun. and lindseys dad had a girlfriend on the street im moving on to. haha how weird is that?

lets start by catching up.
the twenty seventh. (yesterday)
this day was THE day. it was the 1 yr, 5 mth, and 4 hr. anniversary party of the super sticky note experiment, underoath, and (coincidentally) the zach rejection number something. and let me just say it was a sweet deal. lindsey made a lovely cake that had "note" written in blue on it. note, blue. the blue note. like underoath. har har har. actually i thought that was pretty funny. after making a trek back to lindseys house we actually consumed the cake. then we listened to underoath and since we (i) couldnt go to the mall we decided to write a novel instead. literally. were going to write a book. loosely (okay entirely and completely) based on 8th and 9th grade. since were both such aspiring authors and have a crapload of freetime its going to be done. and its going to be good. well itll be fun for our grandkids to read and say "wow grandma! you were such a bitch! you are SO COOL" then i went to the mall with steph and anne. and saw meredith. that was pretty sweet. and i tried on skinny jeans at express and BOY did taht suck. they looked not so hot. so im going back with my mom to try on the other style. because shes convinced that she likes those and we wear similar jeans.
today.
in a nutshell: today kind of sucked. i watched two episodes of psych, four episodes of that 70s show, one of house, three of will and grace, four of seinfeld. seriously that is a LOT of tv. and i dont normally watch tv. i played ddr with my cousin and bro (kicked their ass even when they were on a mat together), played imagineiff with them, taught cousin the benefits of underoath and taught him a song on guitar.
tomorrow im going to be alone from ten to four. ooh lala. psh yeah right. friends, call. if you dont, im calling you because i am NOT staying here. no way.

christ. i SUCK at catching up. its the thirtieth and i wrote this on the twenty ninth but had to get off. so let me just post it and then post one about today.
thank GOD im home. i had a fun time and all but..having the company of your brother, a 13 year old, and a five year old for five straight days kind of makes you want to shoot yourself.
fun points of trip:
-rode the TITAN!! woop! thats that badass rollercoaster at six flags thats the tenth tallest one or somethign and can knock you unconcious on a hot day. around this one curve your vision kept getting all these black spots. it was AWESOME!
-had fun having my five year old cousin follow me around and copy everything i do. well it fun the first day at least.
-made some really good banana pudding.
-rode all the rides at six flags.
-completely bitched out shelby and called charlie a fag. he caught wind of my queer accusation and decided "me and my little clique were going to have a tough time next year" so sorry guys. we gonna have charlie chasing us all year. im so scared. oh no. please save me.

today i had my german and english finals. easssy....kamel (how do you spell it..?) cheated on the english final. DUMBASS. ITS AN OPEN BOOK FINAL AND YOU HAVE TO USE SPARK NOTES? that boy does not deserve to reside among the nerds.
and now im making jello jigglers. and im going to watch the alias series finale again with my mom because she had to tape it. and im going to get all depressed all over again. really what i want to do is go to the mall and spend some birthday money. but ill settle for seeing *sob* alias.

Bathing.
Many novice owners of guinea pigs are very nervous of bathing their animals because they have been fearful of the effects this may have on the nervous system!. The myth that these animals cannot stand any kind of stress is totally erroneous. They're animals, for goodness sake and their behaviour usually make a damn sight more sense than that of our own species. Guinea pigs react with such vigour and speed when they feel at all threatened, for the simple reason that this is their only form of defence from what could be predatory attack. They are not built to fight off such attacks so nature has given them a very good nervous system which enables them to get the hell out of it as fast as they can. She also equipped them with a good sound system to warn others in the pack of impending attack and hopefully frighten off those doing the attacking. What I am trying to say is that much of the nervous behaviour is more sound and fury than the sound of an imminent cardiac attack!.
It is a good idea to bath your guinea pigs at least once every three months in an anti parasitic shampoo. The one I use is Prioderm which is used upon children who get hair lice. I leave it on for about ten minutes than rinse off. Like small boys, some guinea pigs object to the very idea of water and soapy suds upon them and let their feeling known to owners as soon as they are put in the sink and the water begins to flow about them. Beware of those that try to commit suicide by leaping out as soon as they are put in, for they can be pretty nifty!. If you are not nimble of eye, hand and body, it would be better if these types were bathed in a bath. It maybe more uncomfortable for you on your knees but it is far safer for them!.
If your animals live indoors it is sufficient just to give a vigorous drying by towel and them put them back into their quarters. With animals that live outdoors it it is vital that they are thoroughly dry before they are put outside again.
Even shampooing in a good human medicated scalp cleansing shampoo such as Alphosyl, though not having anti parasitic chemicals in it, can still have anti parasitic effects. A clean skin and coat is not at all as appetising to the kind of parasites that guinea pig flesh is heir to as a dirty one.
Though the veterinary profession insists human hair shampoo is dangerous for animals, it is not, and certainly none that are recommended in this book. It is also, incidentally, a lot cheaper than any you will buy from a veterinary surgery. Remember that most of it has already been tested animal guinea pigs anyway!.
and i would like to point out that camille rather enjoys her bath. as does sophie.
because in this family NO GERMS ALLOWED. and no smelly animals.

so i havent blogged in a while and i feel like doing it organized. so here goes!
b4 first period: steph came early today. whoa.
first period: watched more of the last emporer. thats an interesting movie and im going to have to rent it some time. ive been working on my final review packets instead
second period: worked on the reproductive system thingy. i swear if i dont get a new lab group soon, we'll be one suck up and one slacker short of a full class. we all had to show mrs strait our grade for this assignment and i showed her. and sure enough 30 minutes later she's calling me trying to say i didnt. so i said "uh no mrs strait i showed you the paper" and after a little arguing she looked at it and said "oh no thats will. i saw the zero and assumed it was yours." YOU WANNA FIGHT MRS STRAIT? THEN BRING IT ON BIATCH.
third period: worked on bio packet. and watched a little of batman begins. thats a good movie. gotta love it.
activity: had student council elections. as always, the speeches were either good but everyone made fun of them or humorous. i am glad to say that TAYLOR DID NOT WIN PRESIDENT! yesssss
lunch: they didnt have chocolate chip cookies. what the hell. so i got a little bundle of heaven (aka warm wheat roll) and a bag of m&m cookies instead. i was pissed though. and found out harrison got rid of his weirdo girlfriend. good for you my weirdo friend.
study hall: talked about fine arts and girls/boys. once again worked on my bio packet.
fifth period: sat around and studied german with drew.
sixth period: watched a terriffic movie called Lola Rennt. (in english "run lola run"). it was like a bad acid trip. it was hilarious though and personally i liked it. we just got to the confusing part where you really feel like you need to lay off the dope. also found out that i have to do my interview tomorrow. whoopee.
seventh period: did final review packet. justin was actually in a fairly bad mood! i was shocked! and found out that justin is treasurer and TAYLOR DIDNT WIN!!!!! when we found out drew and i looked at each other and had a silent celebration. taylor was so pissed off. it was great.
after school: walked sophie for a long ways and got attcked by some psycho ten year old. yeah. weird i know. kai is playing the xbox 360 heck yes.
so that was more info about my day than even i care to know. jasons making fajitas. yay. oh i gave camille a bath. she looks lovely.
